Thank you to Code Wiz for sponsoring Macaroni KID Wakefield!

Design Your Own Roblox Games: Students will learn how to create their own immersive 3D worlds and games using Roblox Studio, a platform that allows kids to become game developers. This class will introduce essential game design principles and coding concepts, empowering students to build their own interactive experiences in Roblox. By the end of the camp, students will have developed their own playable games.

Robotics and 3D DesignThis camp combines hands-on learning with LEGO® EV3 MINDSTORMS® and SPIKE to teach kids how to design, build, and program robots. Students will explore core programming concepts like sequencing, loops, conditionals, and events while working with sensors such as Gyro, Ultrasonic, Color, and Touch. The drag-and-drop interface makes coding accessible and fun, allowing students to progress from simple commands to complex algorithms. Campers will also dive into 3D design and printing using Tinkercad and Blender, creating their own objects and bringing them to life with a 3D printer.
